Engineers Without Borders Ireland would love your help raising funds/awareness for a water and sanitation project in Uganda.

Hello fellow shibes.

Engineers Without Borders Ireland is facilitating a research project in Uganda this year in partnership with the Busoga Trust. The project aims to improve latrine/toilet design and construction throughout Uganda. As of 2013, over 2 billion people do not have access to a toilet. This is a major contributor to the spread of disease and leads to a huge number of deaths each year.

We are sending an intern to Uganda from June to September (3-4 months) of this year to conduct research on existing and potential latrine designs.

I won't go too much into the technical aspects of the project but if you are interested, feel free to ask any questions you may have.
